The Marist Brothers’ ministry in Nigeria places a strong emphasis on social justice, driven by their commitment to creating a more equitable and compassionate society. Through this ministry, the Brothers actively work to support the marginalized, including the poor, orphans, and vulnerable youth.
We promote human rights, advocate for equal access to quality education, and address issues such as poverty and social exclusion.
In collaboration with local communities and organizations, the Marist Brothers organize outreach programs, provide scholarships, and conduct awareness campaigns on social issues. Their approach is rooted in the teachings of St. Marcellin Champagnat, striving to empower young people as advocates for justice, peace, and societal change, in line with their mission to serve others with humility, empathy, and solidarity.
